Who is Super Dooper Kids Books

Pat Mitchell is the author and creator of Super Dooper Kids Books.

A dreamer of dreams and a believer in vision casting, Pat explains why she put writing kids books as a top goal back in 2020. "My wish," she describes, "was to create a series of books in memory of Super Dooper, who was my hubby, Dirk, and my dog for over fifteen years as well as my dog-training partner and my Therapy Dog teammate partner for almost fourteen years." Pat adds, "Dooper was a very popular and a famous Therapy Dog with a smile that would light up the world!"

Pat and Dooper's company, Super Dooper Dog Training, even earned them the prestigious Atlanta Magazines' 'Best Dog Trainer' Award winners! They loved their career of training hundreds of students!

Pat and Dooper specialized in Therapy Dog training. Today, Pat continues all across America, as a volunteer who certifies teams by being a Certification Tester/Observer for Alliance of Therapy Dogs.

Sadly, at the age of very fifteen years, Dooper passed away of natural causes after a magnificent life of running and playing, traveling, therapy visiting and dog training, in 2020. Pat started her dream of sharing Dooper's amazing joy for life by writing her Super Dooper Kids Books that same year.

By writing her books, Pat not only wants to keep Dooper's shining spirit alive but also do this as a philanthropic project as a way to pay her many blessings forward. Her Super Dooper Kids Books, 100% of all sales raise money for charity's she loves. So far, with three books in her series complete, thanks to all the generous people who buy her books, she's raised thousands and thousands of dollars!

Pat pays for all the expenses and publishes enough books to give them away to children all across North America and even overseas. She even makes cuddly stuffed animals and fun stickers which kids love that go with her books.

Pat and her fabulously creative Illustrator, Ayden Kate Plumlee,  love going into classrooms giving books and stickers and they toys to kids. They show and tell all the adventures of creating Super Dooper Kids Books books. The kids are always so fascinated with listening to Ayden Kate tell about how she creates all her wonderful drawings for the books. And they do all types of fun contests with prizes during their visits.

It takes a team to create theses fun and amusing stories. Along with meeting Ayden Kate, you'll meet Dana and Mickey, too. Pat calls them her Super Dooper Kids Books Team. They are Super Dooper!

The dog who will always be Super Dooper

2004-2020

In all your life, have you EVER seen such a Super Dooper dog-smile such as this one?

Dooper was a sporting breed who loved life to the fullest. He was a Llewellin English Setter, a breed known to be highly active, full of adventure and yet a loving, cuddly and charming as a pet and family member. Yep, that describes Dooper, perfectly. He even liked Pat and Dirk's two cats!

Pat and Dirk miss him terribly yet feel so blessed to have lived life with a Super Dooper dog!
